I've had blogs before, but since my husband has had good luck here on Weebly with his site, www.squirrelforge.com, I thought perhaps I should give it a go again.
What I'd like to do here is talk about food, particularly mindful eating, Paleo nutrition, and really tasty recipes. I'd also like to talk about the intersection as I see it about food and spirituality and sacred meals. I am a Pagan, though I don't celebrate as much as I'd like. But I find preparing and eating food to be a holy experience, one that really gets me into my spiritual zone, even if I'm not doing a spell, as it were. So I'd like to have foods that revolve around the Sabbats as well as adhere to a Paleo framework. Much of the Pagan recipes I see have a lot of bread, which I don't generally eat because I cannot. I have gluten intolerance, so while during the meal, I feel fine, the day after? Not so much. I'd like to present foods here that are meant for the Sabbats that don't make people ill, that are good for us on multiple levels. Maybe it'll turn into a book or an e-book someday. We'll see. One day at a time here.
So yeah, that's it for now. I'll also be posting recipes from time to time on the Squirrel Forge blog from time to time. We have an idea for one coming up, so I'll be sure to link to that. But for now, Merry Meet,m
